Romeo - Alec Parkinson

Alec trained at Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2006.  He has played Richard in ‘The Silencer’ (Y Touring theatre company), Richard in ‘Sugar Snap’ (Union Theatre), Errol Philander in ‘Statements After An Arrest Under The Immorality Act’ (Lion & Unicorn), and has appeared in The Brief (ITV).  Alec is represented by Et-Nik-A Prime Management.

Juliet - Joanne Gale

Joanne is 19 years old, and has taken part in RADA Young People’s Workshops and workshops with Stratford Circus and City Lit.  She has played Hero in ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ (outdoor with Alter Ego Theatre Company), and Arkanida in a showcase performance at Stratford Circus Theatre.  TV credits include Abby (lead) in a new online soap ‘Mums Power’ (Two Four Productions), and Leanne in Doctors (BBC).  Joanne is represented by Break A Leg Management.

Mercutio - Gus Wight

Gus trained at L'Ecole Philippe Gaulier, Paris, graduating in 2008.  Previous credits, include Dan in ‘Closer’, Judge Danforth in ‘The Crucible’, Father in ‘The Street of Crocodiles’, and Chris in ‘All My Sons’, (all ADC Theatre, University of Cambridge).

Nurse/Lord Montague - Louise Munro

Louise graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in 2007. Recent roles include; An Improviser in 'Unscripted' (Cockpit Theatre), Trish in 'Boogie Nights -The 70's Hit Musical' (Kenneth More Theatre, Ilford), Mistress Overdone in 'Measure for Measure' (Courtyard Theatre), Rosalind in ‘As You Like It’ (Old Vic), and Queen Margaret in ‘Henry VI Part 2’ (Old Vic).  Louise is represented by Diamond Management.

Friar Lawrence - Sasha Roberts

Sasha trained at the Birmingham School of Acting.  He has played Nathan in ‘2 Halves’ (Tabard Theatre), the Librarian in ‘Between The Lines’ (site-specific, Birmingham Central Library), James in ‘The Girl Who Cried ‘Nam’ (Grassmarket, Edinburgh), and Paul Hine in ‘Doctors’ (BBC).  He is represented by Lisa Dennis Management Ltd.

Lady Capulet/Tybalt - Law Ballard

Law trained at Arts Educational School, London, graduating in 2008, and where the roles she played included Zoe in ‘O Go My Man’, Jacques in ‘As You Like It’, Joanne in ‘Company’, Death in ‘Death and the Ploughman’, and Edith in ‘The Good And Faithful Servant’.  Law has just finished filming the role of Maggie in ‘Smog’ (London Film School).
